Coaxial Feedthroughs

SMA-type coaxial feedthroughs are the most space-saving solution for a shielded transmission of electrical signals through the wall of a vacuum system.

SMA feedthroughs with 50 Ohm impedance are particularly suitable for space-saving, shielded and low-loss transmission of high-frequency signals up to 18 GHz.

Due to its medium size with threaded connection coaxial feedthroughs type N are characterized by mechanical robustness and excellent signal integrity.

Type N coaxial feedthroughs with 50 Ohm impedance are well suited for low-loss transmission of RF signals up to 6 GHz and 1.5 kV in vacuum systems.

Type HN coaxial feedthroughs with 50 Ohm impedance ensure a low-loss transmission of RF signals up to 7 GHz and 7 kV, especially fast rise pulses, in vacuum systems.

BNC feedthroughs with bayonet coupling are used to transmit moderate voltage and current shielded through the wall of a vacuum system.

MHV feedthroughs with bayonet coupling look confusingly similar to the more popular BNC feedthroughs, but are designed for voltages up to 5 kV DC.

SHV5 (Safe High Voltage 5 kV) feedthroughs provide a touch-safe shielded high voltage connection with bayonet coupling for voltage up to 5 kV DC.

SHV10 feedthroughs (Safe High Voltage 10 kV) provide a touch-safe shielded high voltage connection with bayonet coupling for voltage up to 10 kV DC.

SHV20 (Safe High Voltage 20 kV) feedthroughs provide a touch-safe shielded high voltage connection with bayonet coupling for voltage up to 20 kV DC.

Air side and vacuum side plug connectors are used for secure contacting of feedthroughs and must be assembled with suitable cables.
