Start of apprenticeship at VACOM
This year eleven new apprentice start their professional apprenticeship at VACOM. They are learning their trade in a wide variety of areas - from technology development to production and administration to IT. During a welcome week, they were given their first insights into the company at Großlöbichau.
"In times of artificial intelligence, we need smart and digitally affine professionals who learn to derive and update rules at all levels," says Dr Klaus Bergner, CTO. Because the amount of specific expertise is increasing, driven above all by changing production requirements. Monotonous serial productions are no longer in demand. "Our customers expect small series tailored to their requirements or even individual solutions. Following this trend, we need specially trained and innovation-driving skilled workers," Bergner continues. Against this background, a well-founded technical training is a good basis for a successful and secure career.
Currently, 39 apprentices are learning at VACOM. 16 young colleagues have successfully completed their apprenticeship in the past twelve months and have been taken on. Applications for apprenticeships are still possible at VACOM until 30.09.2023.
