UV/IR Extended Range Viewports

Extended Range viewports enable transmission of radiation further into the ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) spectrum through a variety of optical materials like CaF2, ZnSe, Sapphire or Crystal Quartz.

UHV-viewports with Zinc Selenide windows are typically used for IR-applications like optical temperature measurements or CO²-lasers. They are also available with AR-coatings to increase transmission in the IR-range.

UHV-viewports with Calcium Fluoride windows offer a broad transmission from the UV- to IR-range. Higher purity Calcium Fluoride for increased transmission in deep UV or CF-flanges with both sided knife edges are available on request.
