Sponsoring the women's team of FC Carl Zeiss Jena
Jens Bergner, managing partner of VACOM Vakuum Komponenten & Messtechnik GmbH, symbolically presented a jersey with the VACOM logo to head coach Anne Pochert and player Luca-Emily Birkholz on August 3, 2021 in the presence of FC Carl Zeiss Jena managing director Chris Förster. This sealed the sponsorship agreement between VACOM and the Bundesliga women's team. In a complete package, it provides for the sponsorship of Jena women's soccer in the 2021/22 Bundesliga season, including the DFB Cup. On August 22, the FCC women will run in the jerseys with the VACOM logo for the first time in the DFB Cup match against TSV Jahn Calden.
VACOM is one of three exclusive sponsors. Jens Bergner emphasized that they want to combine VACOM's support for families with women's soccer. Among other things, there will be two family sports festivals, one at VACOM and one at the FCC stadium. The women's soccer players are invited to a company tour, which is to include a visit to the tots at the company's own KiTa. Through women's soccer, women and girls are to be made aware of the training opportunities and career options at VACOM. The medium-sized family business with core competencies in vacuum technology and industrial cleaning offers training in 14 technical, commercial and creative professions. A far-reaching expansion of the workforce is planned for the next few years.
